I have just been working around the house today. I made a birthday card. It turned out good I think. I am putting some chicken in the oven and I used up the last of the hamburger with some leftover things from earlier this week. Boy everything tasted good. I love leftovers. Just mixin' and matchin' things sometimes turns out better than a new meal. Mike loves lots of meat when he eats. He was happy with it all. :)

Going to meet my sweetheart in a few to go to Barnes and Nobles and spend some time together. I have not see Mike hardly all week. Mike has been spending all day (everyday) for the past two weeks working
on his trailor. It is coming along very nicely. He takes his time and does as he
can and takes a coffee break. He is going to surprise me when it is all done.
It was vandalized a few months back by 5 teenage boys. Went to court last week
and it isn't looking to good as far as us getting much money or getting things replaced
and fixed. You never know sometimes. I know things happen for a reason! He is
really determined to at least get it presentable again. So glad he is able to do all of
these things again!!!!!!!!!

I know this cup is old(about 2 years) but I just
love it. It keeps my coffee hot for so long. I got it
at Sheetz. The name is wearing off of it but I still
use it everyday. Some things just get better and
better with age. I will use it until I can't anymore.

I love this area of my room. Being at my computer
is one place I have found that I really enjoy. It needs
to be tidied up a bit from time to time but I love being
there. You have the world at your fingertips basically.

Well .. Betsy is broke down again!! She refuses
to start in the rain. Mike is putting new parts on
today and totally recharged the battery. I pray
it warms up some for him. It is too cold for him
to be out there , but he insists on getting it fixed.
Meanwhile, God is reminding me how precious our
neighbors are at times like these. Mine let us use
her car all day yesterday and today. She works
nights and it worked out very well for everyone.
Was able to get Markus to work and keep our Dr.
appointments and everything else we had to do.
Thank God for caring people.

This was only half of my list today and I was exhausted.
I got up at 6:00, walked the dog, made coffee, did laundry,
did dishes after breakfast, put my make-up on, kid to work,
Walmart, took flowers to a friend,(stopped for coffee at Sheetz
for a break), paid several bills in town, came home and ate a bite,
took the Christmas tree and decorations down, picked kids up.......
And that was only half of my day~~~ I am thankful I can do
all the things that a day has in store for me though.

Our van (Betsy, as we call her) is broke down again. Mike has been outside the past 2 days trying to get her running. We are going out in a few minutes and take a test drive to see if she is running good again. Considering he had to prop himself on the van and hold his cane as he was trying to work........I feel blessed!

Wow! Where do I begin with this. I have so much to be thankful for ........my husband, my 6 kids and all my precious grandkids. I have a peaceful home to live in(easy to maintain and close to town). I love what I do everyday that I live. Sometimes things get challenging but all in all I love life and am so thankful for it. I love getting together with my family on the holidays. The anticipation of it is so neat. We all have fun and enjoy talking to each other. These memories we make everytime we get together will always be remembered by the kids. I always try to make the time I have with everyone special (because it is). God has blessed me soooooo much! I love him and am so thankful that I believe in Him. I guess some people in this world do not believe.... but I choose to. It makes life worth living. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (a few days early)

I believe the angels let me know about this station. We were traveling to Roanoke Friday. Our radio in the van had not worked forever. I tried to turn it on just to see if it would work and guess what was playing.......... You guessed it 101. (mysunnyfm) I love it!! Jennifer and me got our flu shots and I got my yearly check-up at UVA in Charlottesville yesterday. Mike has to go to Salem tomorrow for a doctor visit. Wow! This week has really kept us on the go. Thank goodness Markus was off on Wed. and Thurs. I tried to get some pretty pics of the sky as we traveled. It was really pretty the one day. Even got a pic of a few snow flakes.
